Students Week
Pisay studz have been studying hard all the year round. they are always stressed out because of the many assignments, projects and quizzes in the classes. so it is a must that the students have a break and have some fun and the best time to do that is after all those exams and requirements are done with. that is why the students week is made. it is for the sole purpose that the students can unwind and have some great fun. the students week is under the administration of the scs. they're the ones who plan all the things that would be done during the students week. unfortunately, i don't know the date of the students week yet but it would be probably after the lower years' quarter exam. from what I've heard, they are not sure yet if the higher authority(staff people) would allow us to have one full week as students week. they said that they were still doing there best that they would let them to do so. I'm sure that it would be great to have a whole week full of fun. from the last students week, i can say that i enjoyed it a lot though there were sad times. especially when we knew that we didn't win the overall championship in the leagues. it is also very tiring particularly the amazing race thingy. that race was truly very tiring. we have to run around the campus under the scorching sun. its not like we have all the stamina in the world to be able to do that. so, tongues rolling out we continue to roam the place. its kinda sad that in the end we usually don't win anything from our hard work. well, its okay too because it is also fun solving the challenges. so,overall, that race thingy is not too great but not that bad. other things that i remember from the last years student week is the food fest. now that was the worst thing that happened last year. it was a total mess. why did it ever get to their mind to use the stage as the food fest hall something? they know that there are two hundred something students in pisay and they cant possibly fit in that small stage. worse, the stage is not that stable too. what if it suddenly collapsed because it could not stand the weight? too bad they haven't thought of that. they should have thought that Pisay students become wild animals when there is free food. they would just barge in and wont mind about other things. all they would think is food,foood,foooood. i sure hope that nothing as stupid as that would happen in the students week '07. thy said that the last students week wasn't that good because the scs didn't plan it well. i don't know about that but it sure looks like it. i really hope that the students week would be a sure success just like the scicamp because i can see the efforts of the scs peepz doing their best just to get things good and done. let us pray to that. amen. (nag-retreat mi bag-o lang)
